Linsi joins Earth Hour 2023

SHANGHAI, Mar. 26, 2023 — Linsi, China's excellent integrated material company, supports World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to promote Earth Hour 2023, in line with its commitment to raise awareness and to shine a spotlight on the issues of climate change and nature loss.

From 20:30 to 21:30 (in each country’s time), this event, organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), invites people to turn off the lights of their homes, offices, monuments, streets, among others, to give the planet a “breath.”

As in previous years, Linsi will join this initiative, turning down totems and banners of the main access to the plants. Enhancing the effort further, Linsi has gone social with the awareness initiative using Wechat groups and social media platforms to reach out to Voluntary & Community Organization, encouraging the public to participate in Earth Hour 2023.

Earth Hour serves as a symbolic 'Lights Off' movement to show collective support towards the planet and promote public awareness on climate change highlighting the need for sustainable living. To mark this occasion, Linsi is also organizing a beach clean-up and recycling drive in Shanghai as a part of Linsi Volunteering Week, contributing to the global movement towards promoting sustainable development.

This year, Earth Hour is urging people and communities across the world to take an hour to create a global moment of change. As landmarks and homes across the planet take part in Earth Hour's iconic switch-off, people are being asked to 'switch off' from their routine and everyday distractions and spend 60 minutes doing something positive for our planet to create the Biggest Hour for Earth.
