LPW聯合GAM研究金屬3D打印鉭粉

近日，英國金屬粉末生產商LPW技術公司（LPW Technology）與全球高級金屬有限公司 （Global AdvancedMetals Pty Ltd，簡稱“GAM”）宣布雙方在合作開發用于金屬3D打印的球形鉭粉，并論證其有效性。

據LPW和GAM稱，像鉭這類的難熔金屬目前還不怎么盛行于增材制造，兩家公司想要更加充分地探索這種金屬材料的潛在優勢和應用。“還需要更全面的概念證明，開發出打印標準，”他們表示。

為此，鉭材料專家GAM和AM金屬粉末專家將合作演示和分析金屬鉭粉在增材制造的使用，GAM已經對此進行了投資，研究鉭粉的球狀、角狀、分形等各種形態。通過介入3D打印，GAM的鉭粉將打開更寬廣的市場，包括軍事、航空航天、牙科、和醫療行業。
